We bought a new house and needed some renovations, namely: re-finish the floors, paint all the walls/trim, etc and gut renovate the kitchen. We met with a few general contractors and Keith Kling (from Kling Brothers Builders) seemed to be the most professional, fair and trustworthy of all, so we proceeded with him.
Here are some highlights from the project:
– Craftsmanship: top notch! No cutting corners, attention to detail and top quality work by the team!
– Communication: Keith was always available, communicated clearly and was proactive with advices/issues/resolutions
– Deadlines: the whole project was completed within 2.5 month, as promised.
– Reasonability: quotes we got were very fair, especially given the quality of work. Keith also provided very detailed itemized breakdowns.
Best of all, dealing with Keith was a “one-stop shop”, where he provided services of his own architectural design team, carpentry work, dealing with painters / floor guys, recommending kitchen cabinets and stones, etc. I would not underestimate time and effort it takes to manage all the work, so I am happy that Keith was taking care of all the logistics, so we could only deal with one person, who was responsible for the overall project delivery.
Keith takes great pride in everything his team does and it shows. Overall, we are very pleased with the quality of work and would highly recommend their services!

My husband and I have worked with Keith Kling off and on since 1990. Our biggest project was a 6000 square foot shingle style house in Weston, CT. Other projects have included upgrades and additions to our houses in Wilton, CT. Unlike so many contractors, Keith works extremely hard to estimate jobs that truthfully represent vast professional knowledge of construction costs. Kling Brothers seeks to shepherd a job to completion in a timely manner. Their team is meticulous and detail oriented. They keep you informed throughout a project, handle all permitting and subcontractors, and are respectful to the client. You can expect quality work at a fair price if you choose Kling Brothers. This company has been involved in all phases of construction experience for three generations. We count ourselves as good friends with the Kling family, and, odds are, you will too. Keith Kling of Kling Brothers Builders donated his time, materials, and valuable expertise to assist me in the completion of my Eagle Scout project, which was a floating dock on a pond in Newtown, CT. Initially, Keith provided assistance in refining the design of the dock so that it met building standards and was sturdy enough for heavy use by kids. He also advised me regarding the types of materials I would need and the proper techniques for building the dock. He even got his hands dirty helping to pour the concrete footers and installing the dock at the pond. Keith’s expertise and generosity were extremely valuable and helped me bring my project to life.
I have been working with Kling Brothers Builders for about a year now. It has been great working with a company like Kling Brother’s that take pride in their work and do things the right way. I contracted with Kling Brothers to replace the roof and gutters on my house. It is a large roof with many peaks and valleys. Their crew did an outstanding job and finished the project in only 4 days. They took great care not to damage the landscaping around the house or the patio and walkways. They cleaned up around the property making sure there were no nails or tiles on the ground. They provided expert advise on the best materials to use and how to protect against ice and snow. They were professional and courteous. I highly recommend them!

I just bought a house and needed the interior painted. I asked around and was referred to Kling Brothers by a good friend. He mentioned how great the work they had done was and when I saw the work for myself I knew I needed Kling Brothers for this project.

Keith Kling and his team at Kling Brothers Builders handled a repair project at my home that covered a range of work, including stone work (sidewalk and two stone porches with stairs), major deck repairs, siding, and roofing repairs. The team was highly skilled, polite, and professional and they worked very efficiently. The breadth of their experience was evident in the quality of their work in all aspects of the project. Kling Brothers built a detached two and a half car garage for me during the summer of 2019 after being recommended by my architect. They did an excellent job, from start to finish. Whenever any issues arose (they always do) Keith always explained the issue and offered different options. I plan on having them expand my laundry room next year!
We hired Kling Brothers to reconfigure the lower level of our house into an office and finish the basement into a laundry room and a play room. From the very beginning Keith was very detail oriented, listened to our goals and came up with a plan to accomplish them. He provided a detailed cost estimate drilling down each portion of the job so we can see the entire scope of the work. Once work started, his team was extremely punctual, reliable and always was sure to clean up daily. Each person was very friendly and easy to converse with, always involving us in decisions and talking through options as we went. Keith is very hands on, checking in frequently on the progress and lining up professionals without a glitch. From labor intensive herringbone marble tile to custom shelving, we are thrilled with how our vision came to life. We would highly recommend Kling Brothers, their quality and professionalism is top notch.
Kling Brothers does work of the highest quality. They recently built a major addition to our home and we are delighted with the result. The workmanship is outstanding. In the building process they were creative when encountering problems and promptly responsive to our concerns. They are a pleasure to work with. They do not come cheap but they are worth the price. The best evidence of our satisfaction is that we asked them to take on another project, which also turned out beautifully.

Kling Brothers LLC did a phenomenal job for us. We had our deck reinforced to support a hot tub along with deck repair .Everyone on the team was professional, courteous, and personable. Keith gave us a fair quote and he delivered on time. Every time I texted Keith with a question he replied immediately. All of his contractors (plumber, painter, electrician) arrived at the planned date and time and were also excellent at their craft, and also professional and personable. The job flowed exactly as promised. I would highly recommend Kling Brothers to anyone having carpentry work of any sort done, large or small. In fact I believe any aspiring contractor (or even existing contractors) should be required to spend time with Keith and his team to see how a job is properly done.
We hired Kling Brothers Builders, LLC, in the winter after going over plans and tweaking and retweaking them until we loved the plans. Kling Brothers was very patient and accommodating. Once the construction started there were big issues to deal with (bump in the floor, removing dining room wall, closing in a window). The company handled them and fixed all to perfection. The professionalism that Kling Brothers brought to the renovation is outstanding. This is a company that I always felt comfortable having in my house and trustworthy in looking out for our best interest. We are very pleased with the end result.
Keith and his company re-sided my house in cedar shingle and made many recommended upgrades along the way. Their quality of craftsmanship is laudable…very impressive. Highly recommend!
Keith Kling recently spent several days accessing my property for a tram replacement following tornado damage. He did this without knowing if my insurance company was going to approve the project. He worked diligently with the tram manufacturer in Wisconsin and gave his best efforts to the project. Unfortunately, my insurance company failed to approve tram replacement, so Keith’s many trips to my home were futile.
Keith was a delight to work with, and I would not hesitate for one moment to hire Kling Brothers for my next home project. I recommend them highly, with no reservation.
